The parents of a Jemison student who jumped to her death in 2010 are suing the Chilton County Board of Education, claiming the wrongful death of Alex Moore.

Officer Donald Joshua Newman of the Jemison Police Department was one of four fallen law enforcement officers honored at a memorial service in Montgomery on Friday, May 11.
