Appeals court rejects convicted murderer's appeal
JEFFERSONVILLE , Ind. - The Indiana Court of Appeals has rejected the appeal of a Jeffersonsville man convicted last year in a double-murder. Ryan Sheckles' attorneys had argued that a Clark County judge failed to take the Jeffersonville man's low IQ into account as a mitigating factor before handing down his 120-year sentence.
