they dont like hunters everywhere you could park to hunt is full of dead treetops they put there a.t.v.riders get a raw deal almost no trails for them.back country camping should be free this is taxpayer property .if you want improved campsite pay for it .not owned by government but by citizens

I have camped up there 3 times since the weather turned warm and have never been checked or even seen a park ranger. I did have my camping permit but noone ever showed up to check it, Heck, I dont even think I saw but 1-2 other vehicles in there the whole time I was there.

the reason no one came to check your permit is because no one likes to be next to shit and thats what you are.

The only reason they want you to get a permit is to get an idea of where to find the body, should you not come out. The place is huge, and most of the access is by horse.

Plenty of roads and most camping is done in areas already cleared adjacent to those roads.
