He was drinking and driving, not wearing a seatbelt and speeding! He was not even old enough to drink legally.....this is what happens when you are irresponsible!

We've all done stupid shyt at one time or another. No one is above making a mistake and it's a unfortunate it cost this person his life. To insinuate he deserved it for simply being irresponsible, and to offer specific details of a tragic accident that have no relevance to the discussion, goes far beyond the pale. Fact is...you are obviously a low life who has no idea what it means to be a human being. May your genitals rot and fall off before you have the chance to breed and pass any of your genetic defects onto your children.

I heard quote that he was racing and the other driver is the one that ran him over and dragged him 90 ft. The other person was taken to Jones Hill because he was so distraught, that is the story at Hope's

I knew Austin. He made some mistakes in his life...(what kid doesn't?), but he was really getting things back on track. He was a great friend, a great father, and a great musician/performer. He will be missed by many. I just ask that people with negative comments who don't know the facts of his accident don't post rumors here. If all you've heard are rumors, please don't help spread them for the sake of his family and friends. Please remember him for all the great things he was in his life, and not for the mistakes he made on the night of his death. No one deserves to die that young, especially when they had so much potential to become something great.

He was not racing nor was the other person taken to Jones Hill. Please stop spreading rumors people. I know austin as well. I do not think any of you would like rumors made up about you once you pass on. He was an awesome individual and were human, everyone makes mistakes. What teenager does not underage drink? Reality check people.

I never drank when I was underage. Period. If indeed this person was driving drunk (and I have no way of knowing), let this be an example of what can happen.

You are all correct. With one exception. While there are no free passes in life, there surely are none in death. The notion that because a person has passed, that nothing negative ever be mentioned about that individual is absurd. When I am gone, WHO cares what is said about me? For that matter, I could not care less what someone says/thinks about me in life! People can say what they please, no matter how cold or hurtful it may be. It's a simple American right. Sorry for his family tho'.

okay buddy you say you don't care but im sure you would care some what if people started to say negative comments or started rumors about you once you passed on. if you say you do not care you are lieing. Yes people can say what they want-it is America, but considering there are rumors stating specific details of a tragic accident is horrific, especially if you knew this person. This whole topic is a sensative subject, considering I worked with the person that was killed.

You are not with the facts......fact is, he was not drinking, although he WAS speeding. Racing. Lost control....SOBER.....was ejected from vehicle, and was ran over by the boys he was racing with. The young men he was racing with were so upset that they tried to kill themselves by smashing and bashing their own heads agianst the pavement. Now listen here you kocksukker....not every kid that gets into an accident on every highway and biway of America is drunk or under the influence when they die in a crash.......get your facts straight ...FACT IS....

To "Peter" No, I would NOT care what you or anyone else said/says about ME. I was talking specifically about myself, and since you do not know me, it was ignorant for you to say otherwise. This was a terrible accident, and my prayers are with the boys family and friends. But again, who cares what they say about me when I'm gone? Stupid a-hole, how can I care if I'm dead? THAT'S all I'm saying.
