City motel accused of failure to pay taxes
A Jacksonville motel is being accused of failing to pay taxes on its visitors, costing the city more than $12,500. A lawsuit filed Wednesday in Morgan County Circuit Court contends Turf Investors, which owns Country Hearth Inn at 1709 W. Morton Ave., failed to pay taxes from December to August.
