The wedding will take place at the Lambuth Chapel in Jackson on May 18, 2013. Elizabeth is the granddaughter of Mrs. Fairy Ruth Hunter and the late John Robert Hunter and the late Mrs. Montie E. Smith Jr., all of Selmer, and the late Mr. Eual Austin of Memphis. Elizabeth graduated from Jackson Christian School in 2007. She finished college in the last graduating class from Lambuth University in 2011 with a B.A. in English. While at Lambuth, she was selected as a scholar in the Ned McWherter Scholarship Program and was distinguished in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. She received the Helen Hill Coltrain Spirit Award and was honored at graduation with the Student Service Award. While at Lambuth, Elizabeth played on the tennis team and was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity for Women. She attended graduate school at the University of Mississippi , where she was a graduate assistant and mentor for the Ole Miss First Scholarship Program. She will graduate from the University of Missisippi in May 2013 with her M. A. in Student Personnel/Higher Education. Austin is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stokes of Greenbrier, Tennessee, and Mrs. Sandy Smith of Ashland City and the late Mr. Bobby Utz, from Greenville, Mississippi. Austin graduated from Cheatham County High School in 2005 as class valedictorian. He graduated summa cum laude from Lambuth University in 2009 and at the graduation ceremony received the award for highest GPA. While at Lambuth, Austin also played on the football team. He attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal and worked on the Mississippi Innocence Project. He graduated summa cum laude in May 2012. Presently Austin is an attorney at Manier & Herod in Nashville, Tennessee.
