They shouldn't have to have warrants from judges to do this. Thats the whole problem right now is that there are too many laws to protect the outlaw. Let them catch them any way they need to.

I wish more people felt like you. We would be able to get more scum and trash locked up.

Although, it is against the constitution and legal rights. People contradict themselves. You folks say, "I love this country and all criminals should die and blah blah blah." I also agree that criminals should pay for their crimes. However, we can't insist that we have constitutional rights and others shouldn't. It is simply illegal. One crime is no better than an other. A crime is a crime no matter who it is committed by. So, I suppose since everyone here is against criminals (which I agree) then the drug force team should also be arrested and locked up for they broke the law as well and are no better than the ones they are watching.

Sorry, no laws were broken, you have no expectation to privacy on a public highway. Also these people are being tracked when they go out of state to pick up drugs. Nothing was searched or seized. It would be no different than a police officer following someone in another vehicle? Would that require a warrant?
How do they do this

How do they do this? Is it with some type of tracking device or what? Do they put it on their vehicle? I think they should put braclets on them if they do get caught. That way they can be monitored. I don't understand how that when someone does get caught and they make a deal or whatever that they can get out of jail and go back to using and selling just like before and they get by with it. I thought that they had to do routine testing. How do they get away with this?

about how they do it is right above this thread. You can read it. I agree once caught selling you should have to wear a bracelet for life so it will be easier tracking. But we have to also remember that this is all these crooks do for a living & anything the law can think of to catch them they always have something cooked up to outsmart them. they are experts at it.

They get out of jail because they make deals with the state. They work for them by turning in states evidence against other people and then all charges against them are dropped. So they can go back to what they were doing. If someone is an informant then they pretty much have a free pass to do whatever they want.
How is that right

How come that is right? Isn't that just defeating the purpose? I just don't understand how and why that they even make deals. I think that if they are caught then they should pay the consequences and not be able to rat on someone to make a deal. That still doesn't make them any better than the ones that they tell on. I think they should at least get some jail time.
It is because

the law knows that the only way, because of the laws that protect the outlaws, they can catch a known drug dealer is to get one of these pillheads to tell on them..or better yet buy from them. Thats the only way they can be caught unless they get awfully lucky & catch them on the road after a huge pickup and arrest them while on the road with pills not in proper container. So that is exactly how it is done and the only way to catch these dealers. The laws protect the dealer & don't think for a second that they don't know this & they try hard to not sell to anyone they think would tell on them. Ridiculous isn't it?

You have to make a deal with the devil and let the lesser of two evils slide. Its the only way to catch the larger drug dealers.
