A single vehicle collision has claimed the life of a 28 year old Breathitt county man.

Timothy C. Roberts, 28, of Jackson, lost control of the motorcycle and hit a utility pole and guide wire at 1960 Quicksand Road in Jackson at 9:10 p.m. Friday, according to a news release from state police.
