Counselor: Support system vital for storm victims

“If they can find activities that are relatively short in duration, this helps them feel like they have some power over their lives. When things like this happen, one of the senses is that they have no control or power.”

The first step in emotional recovery after last Friday's storms is trying to return to normalcy, says Buddy Wagner, who heads the Mississippi College Counseling & Testing Center. via The Clarion-Ledger
