Melissa Miles McCarter, of Ironton, Mo., will read selections from "Joy, Interrupted: An Anthology on Motherhood and Loss," a book presenting various perspectives on maternal loss by authors and artists, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.
