Four people were transported to area hospitals Friday following a two car accident at the intersection of state Route 7 and state Route 213 near the rest stop.

The U.S. Postal Service made public a plan Wednesday to cut costs but maintain postal services in smaller communities across the United States, including several in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, James Alexander Bramlett, 41, Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, Pa., was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a drug abuse charge.

The structure was engulfed in flame when firefighters arrived at the home of Jim and Linda Excell at 1395 Pine Grove Road just after 4 p.m. Pine Grove Road is off state Route 213 near Stanton Junior High.
