Marvin J. McClure, age 82, of Iredell, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, in the Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home after an extended illness.

Speaking at the 25th annual Bosque County Preservation Luncheon on Saturday, Gene Blakely brought history to life with tales of "The Iredell Hangings and other early tragedies."
