Good work men. You and your collegues are only thing standing between Torrance citizens and an environment like Compton.

These are the heroes that place their lives on the line everytime they are on duty. They are the last line of defense between freedom and anarchy. Anyone who dares threaten their lives deserves termination from life.
Thank you to all the brave men and women. May God always walk beside you.

The police make decisions in seconds that judges and lawyers talk about for months. Hats off to all these brave people that stand on that thin blue line for us. If citizens would get more involved with the police, crimes would go down all over. These people WANT to do more, but are often limited too much by backward-thinking polocies that tie there hands too much. Anyway, Congrats to all.

Why didn't the officers use batons when they went after the woman with the knife?
These awards are a way for the government to justify their spending and asking for money in the new elections. Police departments loved 911 for the fact that is substantially raised their budget as well. They have spent record amounts on overtime since that as well. If it was a privately run company, spending like that would not have happened. I am not saying to make the police a private company, just control spending better. If you don't beleive me, research it.
911 was a horrible thing and I am only using it because it is a perfect example.
Has anybody seen any stories about this war the US is in. I heard on the news that a soldier from Hemet was killed, but that is the only thing for a long time.
