BB King is a talented and legendary performer. Sadly he was not paid his full worth when he was younger due to early racial discrimination and a lack of exposure to a larger audience than the old chittlin circuit when he was in his prime. Also, perhaps Mr. King did not manage his resource as prudently as he should have. I am proud of all that he has accomplished and that he is still with us (alive). However, I feel that it is time for him to retire as I left early from the last BB King performance that I paid to see. His show was essentially the over scripted show that I had seen before. It was almost verbatium with Mr. King "filling" time with talk that was not really in the service of connecting with his audience. I nor anyone I know have ever viewed Mr. King as an Uncle Tom. You comment is puzzling to say the least.
