The Highwaymen MC of Ilion, New York, hosted their annual Winter Blowout on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Silverado in Herkimer.

Two individuals wanted by State Police in Watertown were located and arrested in the Village of Ilion Thursday night.

The polls close at 8 p.m. on Thursday night as a straw poll on the proposed merger between Herkimer, Mohawk, Frankfort-Schuyler and Ilion School districts went before voters.

After a record number of votes cast, the proposal to merge four Herkimer County schools has passed in Ilion, but will not go further because of rejection in Frankfort-Schuyler. In Ilion, the final numbers are 1,221 yes to 755 no.
