County Commissioners Chairman Blaine Young says that starting Monday, the new office of Business Development and Retention will meet weekly with businesses to improve interaction with the county government.

A house in Ijamsville, Maryland was on fire this evening. Frederick County fire and Rescue Department confirmed the fire was dispatched at about 8:35 p.m. Located on 9805 ritchie court, the two-story house was reportedly fully engulfed when the rescue team arrived on scene.
