I would like to thank you Sir for answering the call. I will never be able to fathom nor will I ever be able to replicate your heroic actions on that day as the allies stormed the beachhead. I grieve for the loss of your comrades and for those nights that have haunted you since then. I only pray that the Almighty bless me with the strength, bravery and honor as he hath bestowed on you and all the brave troops on that day. I pray that I live my life in a true and honorable fashion so as to not let you down. I will never take my freedom for granted and as the Almighty as my witness, I will live my life to the fullest and enjoy the beauty that it has to offer. Should one day the Almighty see fit, I would be honored to be in your presence.

Thank you Sgt. Jacobson. It is sad that you and so many others made the sacrifices you did, to protect the liberties, that Socialist dictator obama is destroying at an ever increasing rate.

I doubt we will ever see a greater generation then those young men and women who fought in that war. They saved the world.

When I was a kid in the '70's, the commemeration of WWII events like D-Day was a big thing, given that back then, the war had been only 30 years prior. With the WWII veteran population passing on, it is important that Americans do not lose sight on what they did to secure a better future for our nation. I salute you Sgt Jacobson for your service. The debt we owe to your generation can never be repaid.

I am the proud daughter of Sgt. Jake Jacobson. I listen with a full heart when he retells the time of D-Day and other times of his war time. I see footage and can't believe how so many of them made it. I have spoken to his buddies Ed and Bob who shared that time with him. They laugh, cry and remember those that they lost. The three together are amazing. Their friendship is as strong now as it was then. My dad is proud to have served his country and bless his heart if he could do it now he would. Instead he tells his story to the students he respects and they respect him its rewarding to see him touch so many young lives. I' m very lucky to have him for my dad he states he's no hero but he is mine. Thank you, Dad and Thank you to all branches of service who have served and are now serving.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Scorpio

If something is bothering you, it's important that you say so now, loudly and clearly. It's no good bottling things up any longer because that will only lead to resentment and a slow-burning anger. However, it's important that you know when to shut up too, otherwise you might overstate your case or sound so demanding that you turn others against you.
