Tornado warning: Allen, DeKalb, Noble

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for parts of Allen, DeKalb and Noble counties until 9:15 p.m. At 8:27 p.m., weather service radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Huntertown, moving southeast at 35 mph, the weather service said in its warning.

Mismanagement is costing Huntertown

According to the office of Huntertown's clerk-treasurer, the Town Council and Huntertown's new Utility Service Board have spent more than $160,000 appealing the Indiana Department of Environmental Management's decision not to allow a sewage treatment plant to discharge into the Geller Ditch.
