New Legislation Would Help Veterans with Job Training
Legislation that would allow qualified veterans to use their military training and experience as a replacement for additional training and licensing required for certain careers has been passed in the Michigan State House of Representatives.

Gas Prices Recede from Record Heights Along Lakeshore
Gas prices along the Lakeshore have fallen back from record highs. This morning's survey of Holland area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.99, a drop of 29 cents from last Friday's peak of $4.28, but still 20 cents above what was seen a year ago.
