This year the dates are May 30-31, June 1-2. We have a kick-off potluck supper on May 30 at 6 pm which is free for campers.

Dozens of Howe residents showed up to a special city council meeting tonight to give their input about how to keep the city within budget in this tight economy.

The Howe ISD School Board honored campus "Teachers of the Year" at the May 17 school board meeting.

This Saturday night, May 26, the Melody Ranch Gospel Band will perform. Members of the band are Al Guinn, guitar and vocals, George Kirby, fiddle, Judy Ziola, piano and vocals, Keith Francis, steel guitar, Archie Shearer, lead guitar and vocals, Pat Shearer, vocals, Jody Cofer, bass and vocals, and Bill Hayes, guitar and vocals.

Howe, Texas, in the late 1910s and early 1920s found itself amid a southern economic boom.
