Bernard D. Larson, 79, of Hiawatha, died Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2012, at the Hiawatha Community Hospital.

Joseph Richard, Jr., 50, of Rising Fawn Georgia, formerly of Brown and Doniphan Counties, died from injuries received when the tractor trailer he was driving, collided with another tractor trailer, early Friday morning, February 3, 2012, near the Winston, Missouri exit on Interstate 35 north of Cameron .

Lester D. Shaw, 75, of Hiawatha, died Monday morning, January 23, 2012, at the Hiawatha Community Hospital where he had been a patient about 10 days.

A 20-year-old Horton man was killed and three teenagers were injured in a one-vehicle crash early Wednesday in Brown County.
