A Mingo Junction man is being held in the Jefferson County Jail today on pending charges after leading sheriff's deputies on a high-speed chase Thursday evening on U.S. Route 22.

THE woman who received America's first face transplant says she still loves the man who turned her into a "monster". Mother-of-two Connie Culp, 46, made history five months ago when doctors replaced the face that was obliterated in a gun attack in 2004.

Connie Culp literally stood before the world with a new face on Tuesday. The 46-year-old Unionport woman spoke to media at the Cleveland Clinic after undergoing the nation's first full face transplant in December.

For four years she had no nose. The bony structure that once supported her face was gone, as was most of her face.
