Harrison County Sheriff Joe Myers said Douglas Grim Jr., and his cousin, Jonathan E. Grim, both of Cadiz, were being sought in connection with at least 10 break-ins at area residences over the past three weeks.

Memorial Day will find Don Richards busy attending and taking part in services in Cadiz, New Athens, Moorefield and Hopedale, and likely some other cemeteries as well.

Emmitt J. Hamilton, 85, of Hopedale, Ohio, died Wednesday May 23, 2012 in Gable Care Center, Hopedale.

Three members of the Harrison Central High School Class of 2012 were awarded scholarships totaling $5000 by the Ohio State University Alumni Association, Harrison County Club.

The Harmony Brothers gospel group, comprised of Jim Kell, vocals and guitar; Jim Brandolino, vocals and percussion; and Lou Ralich, vocals and keyboard, will perform Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Hopedale United Methodist Church, 235 Church St., Hopedale.
