Woman killed in Hoover crash identified

Woman fatally shot at Iron Bowl party in Hoover
<![CDATA[HOOVER, Ala. (AP) -- Police in Hoover are investigating a fatal shooting at an Iron Bowl party. Hoover Police Chief Nick Derzis tells al.com a woman in her 30s was shot at the party and was pronounced dead at the scene. Derzis says they didn't immediately know whether the shooting was related to the game. Derzis says there were multiple witnesses to the shooting. An adult female was taken into custody but was not immediately charged. Hoover police said they couldn't release many details early in the investigation.
