N.Y. voters set school budgets, boards today
Voters will go to the polls today to decide on a $20.9 million school budget for the Hoosick Falls Central School District, while those in the Cambridge Central School District will vote on a $17.2 million budget.

Hoosick Town Board approves motion to offer $1 for armory
The Town Board approved a motion Monday directing town Attorney Debra Young to seek an agreement with the state Office of General Services that would allow Hoosick to take ownership of the armory for $1. "The big reason is time," said board member Mark Surdam, who made the motion, which passed on a 3-2 vote.
