2 lame things, First do you need to win a beauty contest so bad that you have to go looking for one
in Two Harbors? Second, the pagent director is an Idiot, it seems she changed the rules as she needed to to get contestants, and then when one of them wins they boot her. Give it up.

Does having a vacation property qualify one as a resident? I thought the dual-residency thing only applies to somebody being from another country. We aren't allowed to have drivers' licenses from more than one state. On the other hand, there are some people who live in one state and license their vehicles in another. Figure that one out.

What do you expect from a MN beauty pageant? Unlike a MN election there was no recount here. Was it close in the final contestant balloting? Oh, well, that's MN for you> You betcha'!!!

Sounds like an honest mistake and reasonable responses by all. Actually, it's a good example of how to handle a problem like this. Good job, everybody, and I hope I see Caitlyn a winner in another pageant.

Does the family pay property tax there? If so, let her in.

UGLY FACTS.
1.Holyoke is merely on the railroad and not even on HWY 23 ( which passes via Wisconsin by the way ). Also Holyoke is not close to Scenic HWY 61. 30 miles from where ? she claimed Two Harbors right ? so she is a liar...
2. Every beauty contest will have a winner irregarless of how ugly she is.

She should run for Mayor of Chicago. Then she would qualify without living there. Rahm-bo has.

A poorly written article about a ridiculous situation that shouldn't have occurred. She shouldn't be on the pageant circuit - "Once a cheater - always a cheater." Maybe I should enter a Tokyo pageant - I love off Scenic County Road 10 - LOL.

I am the parent of one of the other girls in the pageant. There clearly was an issue of who "qualified" to be in the pageant. Caitlyn, did bring this before the director prior to the pageant. It was determined that she would be allowed to run. Caitlyn is an amazing young woman, who is honest, kind, and an excellent mentor. She added considerable professionalism to the pageant. My daughter was blessed to have met her. I hope that the judges amongst you, measure yourselves with the same yard stick you are measuring those involved in this situation.

Daily Horoscope for May 30

Gemini

You're more stubborn than usual, slow to make decisions, and may eventually blow a fuse. Your patience will give you the strength to push for what you want. No one will easily push you off track once you know where you're going. Your staying power is greater than usual and others will find you dependable. You're feeling compassionate to those in need, but loved ones could find you evasive and unrealistic.
