EPA Route 66 Clean Up Grant May Help Holbrook Projects

The Environmental Protection Agency has earmarked $700,000 for cleaning up contaminated sites and revitalizing communities along Historic Route 66 in northern Arizona, and the City of Holbrook will seek a portion of the funding to tear down derelict buildings and clean up hazardous properties.

Snowflake Council Tables Action On Payment Of Bus Line Subsidy

White Mountain Connection, the bus line from Pinetop to Holbrook with stops in Show Low, Taylor and Snowflake, was being funded with money from the Navajo County Local Transportation Assistance Fund provided through the Arizona Department of Transportation , but that funding has been eliminated.
