Contrary to TV reports, there was no appreciable storm damage in Hokes Bluff, Ala., Saturday, March 15, 2008. What was reported as damage on Leigh St and Central Ave. was actually the scheduled demolition of the old football field pressbox, bleachers and assorted buildings.
