Grant to address race inequity in health care The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health awarded UT's Hogg Foundation a one-year, $180,000 grant to create a national model to improve integrated health care for minorities who do not speak English.

Confederate servicemen honored Saturday
At the Sesquicentennial-Confederate Heroes Day Luncheon on Saturday in Jacksonville, the Sons of Confederate Veterans and the United Daughters of the Confederacy sang "Dixie" to the tune of a banjo, saluted the American, Texas and Confederate flags and, through storytelling, revisited the South their great-great-grandfathers knew.
