1. Groups across the region have events planned today and Saturday for the Fourth of July. . The city of Rochester has a celebration on the Main Street bridge, between St. Paul and State streets, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m. 2. The city of Rochester is also unveiling its new Celebrate One City laser light show at High Falls at 10 p.m. today. (The best place to watch is from the Pont de Rennes pedestrian bridge.) 3. Take a step back in time with the 19th Century Style 4th of July Celebration from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford. Call (585) 538-6822. 4. This year's free Shakespeare at the Bowl production is Hamlet . It opens at 8 p.m. today at the Highland Park Bowl, with a show on Sunday, too. Broadway and patriotic songs are on the program for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's "Red, White and Boom" concert at 7:30 p.m. today at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Hopewell.
