Since officially being celebrated for the first time in May of 1868, Memorial Day has always been an annual celebration that remembers those that gave their life in service to their country.

Edgerton, OH --- The Defiance County Area Horsemen's Association will sponsor a matinee on Saturday at the Defiance County Fairgrounds in Hicksville, Ohio.

Defiance has certainly become a name well-known on the major league baseball diamonds.
