A Ringwood author/entrepreneur/motivational speaker recently spoke to E.G. Hewitt School children about her first book in a new children's series "Daisy Button Adventures," which chronicles the adventures of a group of friends who combine their talents to make a difference in their community.

UPPER SADDLE RIVER A seven-foot, 1,464-pound piece of steel salvaged from the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center was transported this week from storage in New York City to the borough Fire Department, where it will be displayed on Memorial Day before being turned into a permanent monument.

A West Milford man was charged with possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances and possession of drug paraphernalia on Sunday after Bloomingdale police said he was found to allegedly be in possession of a small amount of what was believed to be marijuana and items used to ingest it.
