Lawyers for a prominent environmental activist say he has been released from an isolation unit at a federal prison and placed back into a minimum-security camp.

Tim was informed by Lieutenant Weirich that he was being moved to the SHU because an unidentified congressman had called from Washington DC, complaining of an email that Tim had sent to a friend.

Supporters of Tim DeChristopher are organizing a Thursday press conference to call attention to what they claim is "political persecution" against the 30-year-old activist - who was recently moved from a minimum security prison camp in Colorado to a special housing unit at a higher security prison in Herlong, California.
