State Representative Arthur J. O'Neill and State Senator Rob Kane applauded the May 9 passage of legislation which reforms the voting regulations for the Heritage Village condo community and helps to make the state's condominium voting process more democratic.

The Southbury Fire Department responded to a fire that broke out at Heritage Village at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Two Waterbury women were charged Saturday with numerous theft, forgery and related offenses, accused of stealing checks from Heritage Village and cashing them at Bank of America branches in Watertown and Naugatuck, according to state police.
