At 12:48 p.m. Wednesday, a boy was on Alpine Mountain in Price Township, walking home from the bus stop, when a dog running loose chased and bit him in the back of the leg, state police at Swiftwater said.

Another arrest has been made in a stabbing death in Monroe County. State police have arrested Ian Seagraves, 17, of Cresco.
The search for a missing man in Monroe County ended Wednesday with the discovery of his body and the arrest of another man on a charge of criminal homicide.
Police said they found a body Wednesday afternoon in Monroe County. Investigators found the body around 1 p.m. in a wooded area off Snow Hill Road and Route 447 near Henryville.
