By Linda Kor A fire that officials believed started at a residence at 2803 Highway 260 in Overgaard destroyed three homes and a garage on Sunday, March 22.

On Sunday, 42 firefighters from five different departments battled a fire near Heber-Overgaard in Navajo County, about 40 miles northwest of Show Low.

Firefighters are battling a 25-acre fire that caused crews to shut down a portion of Highway 260 for several hours in northern Arizona Sunday.

Dorothy Dale Connor, 86, died on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, and was laid to rest beside her husband in Show Low.
