Powell law firm dropped from juveniles' lawsuit

The law firm of Robert J. Powell, who has pleaded guilty to paying $770,000 in kickbacks to two county judges in the kids-for-cash scandal, has been dropped from a civil-rights suit filed by hundreds of juveniles who served time in a detention center that he once owned.
