Hayward Driver Plows Into Police Cruiser, 1 Hurt

A California Highway Patrol officer was injured in HaywardA Saturday morning when a driver reportedly crashed through temporary safety barriers on a highway and collided with a patrol car conducting traffic control, a CHP officer said.
