Hawesville council discusses $1.5 million budget
The city of Hawesville passed its 2009-10 fiscal year budget Tuesday night. The city projects to spend $1,518,348. More importantly, when subtracting out carry over funds from last year, the city's expenses exceed revenues by over $50,000.
