To all you people thinking that the consumer of a developer product or the taxpayer in a community are right and can control growth and its process... Hah!!! The judges really control this stuff. Too bad the people in the THP development will have to live in a dump with their "dream home" for years to come. At some point, the Townships will stop going back to Federal Court to compel THP to finish.

typical of this industry. The place hasn't filed for backruptcy because of the economy and the slump. They failed because of poor management. They didn't adjust for the trends and used money that these people paid for homes to acquire more land and start more projects instead of using the money to complete the phases of their developments. My kids live in one of these unfished developments. Driveways are not finished, roads are not finished and the drainage is terrible. You should see it after it drains. The storm sewers are unable to take away the water because they are above the level of the street. As far as I know, water doesn't run uphill. Can't wait until the hot humid weather kicks in. There will be mosquitos galore. Then it will not just be an issue of unfinished projects, it will be a health matter. I really would prefer my grandson, my kids or anybody else that paid good money for these homes to be stricken with West Nile. Drive through the development named Northgate. It's a lake, standing stagnant water everywhere. I don't understand why this company is allowed to conduct themselves in this manner. Come on government, step up to the plate and help these people get what they paid for.

Plus, THP has already had two extensions that I know of since they filed their bankruptcy. They were granted an extension to complete their plan on how they were going to "restructure", now this. Some judges should just not be on the bench.

What are you, SICK? you wish your own relative would get west nile to prove a point!
First off, most of you are just ranting on something that you don't even understand. I am not for THP, but I am also not for the Feds coming in and taking over.
This has to be managed by a court, THP wants to finish the properties that they have started, they want to come back a stronger company, but the courts will not hear the case so the Feds can step in. TRY READING MORE and stop listening to retoric.
