Following an apparent flurry of activity a day earlier, Dona Ana County commissioners on Wednesday OK'd a revised agreement for spending the educational portion of a spaceport sales tax.

I recall voting on this tax issue. I did not know that it could be changed willy nilly by the commission. I will never again vote favorably on any tax issue.

Fiduciary responsibility at Dona Ana County? What a joke! Not sure who will maintain the spaceport's budget, but I sincerely hope it isn't anywhere near the Health and Human Services Department's hands or it will be lost to salaries for jobs that the director creates. What in the world was going on between the auditor and Commissioner Butler at yesterdays meeting? The commissioner's hire an auditor and then belittle him in front of the media and public because he found one of the commissioner's friend had misspent funds. Things never change here do they?

Isn't the GSD behind on thier state audit, if they are how does the county expect for them to keep the 18 month audit for the space education? I could be wrong....

OMG ... Take a look at the picture of Cynthia Nava. You would think she just graduated from clown college. Hey Cyn ... cut back on the make-up.

And while we are talking about things of this nature ... once again, I remind people in this area that cologne is supposed to be an intimate experience, not one to be shared with everyone within 100 yards.

Dial down the perfume ... you do not need to marinade in the stuff.
