The 4th Annual Chocolate Auction, hosted by the First Universalist Church in Hartland Four Corners, drew a crowd of about 70 chocolate lovers.

A domestic dispute led a Hartland man to shoot at a pedestrian, police said. Ryan Townsend, 19, is facing charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and reckless endangerment after he allegedly shot at David Osmer, 20, of Windsor, as Osmer walked around the Hartland Four Corners the evening of May 5, according to state Trooper Gary T. Salvatore.

As soon as state officials asked for citizen reports of unlicensed junkyards, they began getting an earful.
