A desperate search is underway for an 18-year-old Cleveland high school student who disappeared after school on Thursday.

The Marion County, Arkansas Sheriff says a Harriet, Arkansas man is facing his first court appearance on drug possession charges.

Visitation for Arthur Martin Jahrling of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, October 25, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Tonight is the crucial vote in the next stage of Portland Public School Superintendent Carole Smith's high school arrangement plan, this one involving closing the three small schools at Marshall High School and shutting its doors, as well as ending the high school portion of the Harriet Tubman Leadership Academy for Young Women.
