Following are a listing of area Fourth of July celebration events: The public is invited to attend the July 4 observance at the John Green Cemetery, near Harpster, a tradition since 1963 at the pioneer cemetery owned by the late Honorable Judge Charlton Myers of Morral.

HARPSTER - Xavier University varsity golf coach Doug Steiner posted the top score in the Heart of Ohio golf tournament, completed Sunday at Hickory Grove Golf Club.

MORRAL - The first 36 teams will be accepted for the Salt Rock Fire Department Golf Outing.
