A state lawmaker is being accused of harassment by a former aide who says he was forced into a sex act.

A former aide for a state lawmaker says the representative forced him to have sex and gave him a raise in an attempt to forge a romantic relationship.

Several areas schools were put on lockdown Thursday in Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods when police responded to a complaint of shots fired from a home in the 19900 block of Lancaster in Harper Woods.

Police would not provide any details on the incident, but school board president Brian Selburn said that at about 4 p.m., he received an e-mail from district administration saying police had ordered a lockdown of the high school-middle school complex, followed by Tyrone Elementary and eventually Beacon Elementary.

Action News reports that Harper Woods Middle School, Harper Woods High School, Beacon Elementary, Tyrone Elementary and Heart Academy and Poupard Elementary School in Grosse Pointe are on lockdown.

A witness at the scene told WWJ Newsradio 950 officers had streets blocked off around an approximately four-block residential portion of the city - between Beaconsfield, Peerless, Lochmoore and Fleetwood.
