Margaret Kirk was born to Swedish immigrants who homesteaded on Garland Prairie near Williams, AZ.
Born on March 19, 1915 in Williams, Arizona, soon after his parents, Oscar and Elvira Ryberg had emigrated from Sweden to America by way of Ellis Island; who as westward-bound pioneers homesteaded in Garland Prairie outside of Flagstaff, Arizona.
Explorers Day will give glimpse of ranching life
28. The last date to register is Friday, Aug. 20. Ranch Explorers Day is a fun and educational day held at Mahan Park, a green meadow in the pines on the V Bar V Ranch near Happy Jack.
