Point No Point Lighthouse celebrating $100,000 worth of upgrades
The Point No Point Lighthouse in Hansville recently upgraded to new doors and roof, heating and lighting system and a fresh coat of paint, restoring the North Kitsap station to the way it looked like in the 1930s.

County wants public input for Hansville traffic study
Kitsap County is undertaking a comprehensive traffic study of the greater Hansville area roadways, specifically the "Hansville loop." As one component of the study, the county is surveying residents to capture public perceptions about traffic in the area.
Jeffery H. Ellis, 32, of Silverdale and Carissa S. Kallio, 27, of Bremerton were arrested in connection with a burglary in which a desktop computer, TV, women's jewelry and a credit card were stolen from a residence in the 28000 block of Hansville Road in Kingston.
