The Gilbert Town Council met Monday evening and discussed the town's ongoing water projects, as well as the possibility of expanding on them.

Around 60 people recently gathered at Gilbert Town Hall for a groundbreaking ceremony for two waterline projects to bring water to the Horsepen and Browning Fork areas and part of Gilbert Creek.

Charles Henry Britt, 58, of Sprattsville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to join his many loved ones waiting for him in heaven Sunday, October 21, 2012, from his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends.
