After 36 years, four superintendents, eight terms as chair and countless hours of service to Hanover County Public Schools, Sue Forbes Watson announced she would not seek reappointment as Ashland representative on the School Board.

As reported in Wednesday's Times-Dispatch, Sue Forbes Watson, after 36 years on the Hanover County School Board, notified the board that she will not seek reappointment when her term expires at the end of June.

Hanover voters in three precincts will vote in new locations beginning with this November's election, as long as the U.S. Department of Justice raises no objections.
