Residents in the 12-town RSU 10 district will vote on a proposed $35.1 million budget for 2012-13 at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 31, in Muskie Auditorium of Mountain Valley High School.

The Falcons and the Cougars may be sharing a nest in the not-too-distant future, if a tentative proposal by RSU 10 Superintendent Tom Ward is approved by the board.

The town of Paris will have to begin inspecting buildings that lie within its borders, said Town Manager Phil Tarr, thanks to a piece of state legislation called the Maine Uniform Building and Energy Code .
