Park Service Seeks Comment On Md.-W.Va. Trail Link
The National Park Service is soliciting public comments on a proposed extension of the Western Maryland Rail Trail to Paw Paw, W.Va. The agency said Wednesday it will hold public meetings May 16 in Hancock and May 17 in Paw Paw on an environmental assessment of the project.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department says a vehicle operated by Elwood Liggett, 56, of Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania had come up a hill in the area of 13240 Round Top Road near Hancock, when it crossed the double yellow lines, and hit a vehicle driven by Robert Munday, 42, of Hancock.
